Sonali leads the firm’s product and commercial strategies for private credit, managing all aspects of development, structuring, and distribution. She also coordinates strategy, fundraising, and messaging for the funds and oversees governance, risk, product development, and investor relations. 

With nearly 20 years of experience in alternatives, she joined Wellington in 2022 from PIMCO, where she oversaw private debt and opportunistic strategies across corporate credit, specialty finance, and real estate. She has also worked in investor relations, marketing, and investment banking roles for BlueMountain Capital Management, Och-Ziff Capital, and Goldman Sachs. 

Sonali graduated magna cum laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business, earning her BS in finance and accounting with a minor in political science.
