Ehab is a portfolio manager on the firm’s Hedge Fund Multi-Manager Team, which aims to deliver solutions to help solve clients’ investment challenges. He manages several multi-strategy approaches and is responsible for manager selection, portfolio construction, and risk management. He also serves as vice chair of the Hedge Fund Advisory Council and is a member of the Emerging Alternatives Fund, which oversees the firm’s hedge fund incubation program.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2021, Ehab was on the manager selection leadership team at JPMorgan Asset & Wealth Management, where his responsibilities ranged from primary research coverage for various alternative strategies to leading manager research teams and a quantitative research division. Before that, he was a senior analyst at hedge fund/fund of hedge funds platform Innocap and was a multi-manager research analyst at investment consulting firm Pavilion Global Markets.
Ehab earned a BA in economics from The American University in Cairo and holds an MBA from Concordia University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
