As a global industry analyst and member of the Health Care Team, Blake conducts fundamental research on global biopharmaceutical companies with an emphasis on US and Japanese pharmaceuticals and US biotechnology.

Prior to joining Wellington in 2020, Blake worked for The Boston Consulting Group where he helped develop financial models to better assess valuations and support biopharma-related product launches. Before that, he was a technology research fellow at Goldman Sachs, covering small- and mid-cap biotechnology companies.

Blake holds a BS, summa cum laude, in biochemistry and mathematics, with a probability and statistics focus, from the University of Arizona Honors College. He earned his PhD in chemical biology from Harvard University.
