Martin is a fixed income portfolio manager and a leader of Wellington’s Global Fixed Income Team, responsible for its strategic direction and positioning. He also co-manages the firm’s flagship total return strategy, World Bond, and contributes investment ideas and insights across the team’s portfolios.

Prior to joining Wellington in 2016, Martin was a fixed income portfolio manager at Columbia Threadneedle, where he managed absolute return and active, long-only bond portfolios.

Martin earned his BSc in economics from Bath University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
