As an investment specialist on Wellington’s Private Investments Capital Formation Team, Sophia supports a wide range of product management, business, and client-related activities for our private credit platform. She works closely with the private credit investment directors, as well as other internal stakeholders, to help drive the platform’s key initiatives forward.

Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Sophia was a senior associate and real estate product specialist at Oaktree Capital Management, focusing on the firm’s US$20 billion in real estate debt and equity strategies. In this role, she worked closely with the investment, sales, legal, compliance, and operations teams on all aspects of the firm’s real estate fundraising and client servicing.

Sophia earned her BA in finance from Seattle University.
