Sean is an associate in Wellington Climate Growth Investing. In this role, Sean helps source and diligence the firm’s private investment activity in growth-stage, asset-light companies using software, automation, and AI to modernize constrained systems across energy, manufacturing, supply chains, and the built environment.

Prior to joining Wellington, Sean was a venture capital associate at Pegasus Tech Ventures (2023 – 2025), where he developed decarbonization strategies and sourced emerging technology opportunities for industrial clients such as Marathon Petroleum. Previously, he worked at Axos Bank (2021 – 2023) as an enterprise risk management analyst assessing vendor risk and financial health.

Sean earned his B.S. in engineering physics, with a minor in economics, from the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.
