As an equity portfolio manager on the Asia Quality Equity Team, Naveen conducts fundamental analysis on equity investments in the Asia ex-Japan region, focusing on the financials, real estate, industrials, and health care sectors. His research supports investment decision-making for a range of client portfolios. Prior to joining Wellington in 2009, Naveen was a research analyst at UBS Global Asset Management and he co-managed UBS’s first India-focused equity fund. Before that, he held a variety of research roles with Citigroup Investment Research and JPMorgan Securities. Naveen holds a BS in engineering, with honors, from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science and earned his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management.
