As a portfolio manager on the Asia Quality Equity Team, Naveen conducts fundamental research on equity investments in the Asia ex-Japan region, with a focus on companies in the financial, real estate, industrials, and health care sectors. His research supports investment decision-making for a range of client portfolios.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2009, Naveen was a research analyst at UBS Global Asset Management and co-managed UBS’ first India-focused equity fund. Before that, he held several research roles with Citigroup Investment Research and JPMorgan Securities.
Naveen holds a BS in engineering, with honours, from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science. He earned his postgraduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management.
