As the head of the Private Investments Capital Formation and Investor Relations teams, Laura leads all aspects of product development, strategy, and sales for the firm’s private investment platform. Part of her responsibilities include working to expand the firm’s capabilities and strategic position within private markets.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2024, Laura served as the chief of staff for top members of Goldman Sachs’ executive leadership team. Before that, she held leadership positions within Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s alternatives capital formation and external manager selection teams. She has also held roles in investment strategy and risk at Neuberger Berman and corporate finance solutions at Lehman Brothers.
Laura holds a BA in government studies from Colby College and an MA in public policy from Georgetown University. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Association (CAIA) designation.
