Raina works closely with the managers of the firm’s flexible unconstrained fixed income strategies to help ensure the integrity of their investment approaches. She meets regularly with investment teams to assess portfolio positioning, performance, and risk exposures; helps develop new products and client solutions; and manages business issues such as capacity, fees, and guidelines. Raina also meets with clients, prospects, and consultants to communicate Wellington’s investment philosophy, strategy, positioning, and performance.

Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Raina was a portfolio manager at Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company where she focused on distressed debt and long/short credit strategies. Before that, she was a private equity associate at Capital Guidance. She began her career as a real estate investment banking analyst with M3 Capital Partners, a former subsidiary of Macquarie Bank.

Raina holds a dual BA in economics and mathematical methods in social sciences from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations and has a certificate in quantitative finance (CQF).
