Adam leads the firm’s global team of investment strategists, which focuses on helping clients achieve better outcomes through portfolio analysis, research, and customized advice. He specializes in developing research and capital market and multi-asset themes; advising clients and prospects on a wide range of investment policy matters; and implementing investment solutions for clients. Adam also manages several bespoke multi-manager strategies.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2012, Adam was the head of portfolio solutions at AQR Capital Management, where he served on the investment committee of an early fund focused on alternative risk premia. Before that, he worked in a variety of roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, including as a research strategist and chief of staff to the heads of the firm. He also worked in Goldman’s pension services and equities groups.
Adam holds a BA in philosophy, magna cum laude, from Harvard University and an MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
