As a technology sector lead, Brian leads the firm’s private lending activity for growth companies in the technology sector. He leverages insights from venture investors, portfolio managers, global industry analysts and other global research resources within the firm to originate, lead diligence, underwrite and monitor growth lending deals.

Prior to joining Wellington, Brian worked as the head of west coast technology at runway growth capital, where he expanded runway’s technology venture debt investment activity. Earlier, he was a Managing Director focused on the technology sector at Hercules Capital after a 16+ year career in technology investment banking, most recently at Robert W. Baird.

Brian earned his MBA from Cornell University and holds a BS in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
