As the head of Equity Capital Markets, Matt is responsible for the effective, accurate, compliant execution of equity and equity-linked transactions including cash, syndicates, derivatives, commodities, and commodities derivatives. He also leads the recruitment of best-in-class investment and trading talent and focuses on leadership development. Matt joined Wellington in 2000. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Head of Americas Cash Trading and served as a leader on the Global Syndicate desk focused on IPOs, secondary offerings, and large block trading. Before that, he worked for Harvard Management as a senior trading analyst. Matt holds a BS in finance from Bridgewater State College.
