As a portfolio manager on the Securitized Investment Team, Cory determines the overall portfolio positioning and risk levels for various securitized mandates. He specializes in identifying relative value in sector allocation and security-specific opportunities within structured finance sectors, including residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).

Before assuming his current role, Cory was a CLO credit analyst in the firm’s Fixed Income Credit Research Group. He also was a quantitative analyst focused on the RMBS and CMBS sectors. Additionally, he has contributed to the management of Wellington’s Public-Private Investment Fund (PPIF).

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Cory was a fixed income analyst at Income Research + Management. He held similar roles earlier in his career with Evergreen Investments and Fidelity Investments.

Cory holds a BA in economics from the University of Maine (Orono) and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
