Emily Ahlers is an Associate on the Venture Growth Evergreen team within Wellington Management’s Private Investments platform. In this role, she works alongside the investment team in all aspects of the deal process, including assisting the team with sourcing, diligence, and execution across direct and secondary growth equity and venture capital investments. In addition, Emily is involved in supporting portfolio management activities including liquidity management and ongoing portfolio oversight.

Prior to joining Wellington Management, Emily was a Senior Associate at OpenView Venture Partners focused on Venture Investments and Corporate Development, where she supported investment diligence, proactive portfolio strategy, and M&A initiatives for expansion-stage enterprise SaaS companies. Prior to OpenView, she was an Investment Banking Associate at Credit Suisse, where she advised high-growth tech and fintech companies on capital raising transactions. 

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy, with a minor in Political Science, and a certificate in Markets and Management Studies from Duke University. She also completed a Private Equity Certificate through The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
