As the head of Wellington’s Investment Platform, Dan oversees all investment-related capabilities across the firm’s equity, fixed income, alternatives, research, trading, and solutions divisions, and is responsible for performance and strategy. He also manages the equity portion of the Vanguard Wellington Fund. He is a former chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and is a member of its Operating Committee.

Prior to joining Wellington in 2006, Dan was an analyst at the Investment & Development Corporation of Central America in Guatemala, worked as a mathematics teacher in the Boston Public Schools system, and was an investment associate at Putnam Investments.

Dan earned his BA in economics, cum laude, from Williams College. He also holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he graduated with high distinction and recognition as an Edward Tuck Scholar.
