Wellington Management announced the launch of its first interval fund, Wellington Global Multi-Strategy Fund, which seeks to generate consistent and positive returns across market cycles while managing market risk exposure and seeking to minimize drawdowns and volatility. The Fund will be managed by Portfolio Manager Roberto Isch, CFA, who will be supported by an 11-member management team of key leaders across the platform.

Wellington did not pay to be considered for the award, compensation was provided for costs associated with attending the award ceremony and publicizing our win. Winners were selected by CIO Magazine after reviewing written submissions. The award winners were announced on December 10, 2024, a two-part submission was made on September 19, 2024 and was judged based on written responses about Wellington’s liability-driven investing business. Wellington Management was the only winner in the LDI (mega) category, which was judged based on CIO Magazine’s criteria. The award may not be representative of any one client’s experience.
