Frederik helps manage the firm’s private company investment activity in diverse early-stage companies and venture capital funds, working closely with portfolio managers, global industry analysts, and other global research resources within the firm to identify and pursue investments.

Prior to joining Wellington Management, Frederik was a partner at Storm Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. Prior to Storm, he was the CEO of Stanford Student Enterprises (2014 – 2016), an organization which manages businesses enterprises created ‘for and by students.

Frederik is also the co-founder of BLCK VC, a non-profit organization focused on connecting, engaging, empowering, and advancing Black venture investors. BLCK VC is the largest Black venture community in the United States.

Frederik holds a Bachelor of Arts, political science from Stanford University (2014).
