Sean is an Associate on our Private Climate Investing team. In this role, Sean works alongside the Private Climate sector leads to help source and diligence the firm’s private company investment activity into late venture and early growth stage companies to develop solutions that help mitigate and/or adapt to climate change. 

Prior to joining Wellington, Sean was a Venture Capital Associate at Pegasus Tech Ventures (2023-2025), where he developed decarbonization strategies and sourced emerging technology opportunities for industrial clients like Marathon Petroleum. Previously, he worked at Axos Bank (2021-2023) as an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst assessing vendor risk and financial health. 

Sean earned his B.S. in Engineering Physics with a minor in Economics from University of Colorado Boulder, School of Engineering and Applied Science.
