Martin is a fixed income portfolio manager and the leader of Wellington’s Global Fixed Income Team, responsible for its strategic direction and positioning. He also co-manages a flagship fixed-income total return strategy, World Bond, and contributes investment ideas and insights across the platform’s portfolios.

Prior to joining Wellington in 2016, Martin was a fixed income portfolio manager at Columbia Threadneedle, where he managed absolute return and active, long-only bond portfolios.

Martin earned his BS in economics from Bath University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
