As the head of Wellington’s Investment Platform, Dan is responsible for investment performance, strategy, and client outcomes across all business channels. He oversees the Equity, Fixed Income, Research, Hedge Fund, Privates, Trading, and Solutions groups and manages the equity portion of the Vanguard Wellington Fund. He is a former Chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and is a member of its Operating Committee.

Prior to joining Wellington in 2006, Dan was an analyst at the Investment & Development Corporation of Central America. Before that, he was a mathematics teacher in the Boston Public Schools system and an investment associate in the Specialty Growth group at Putnam Investments.

Dan holds a BA in economics, cum laude, from Williams College. He earned his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, graduating with high distinction and as an Edward Tuck scholar.
