As an environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) analyst, Caroline works closely with Wellington’s investment teams to assess ESG risks and opportunities within their portfolios on an ongoing basis. She is responsible for engaging technology, internet, and media companies on ESG issues, conducting portfolio reviews, and partnering with investment teams to integrate ESG information into investment processes.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2021, Caroline was director of research at Alliance Bernstein, where she led coverage of financial data service and retail companies and developed new methods to quantify the financial impact of sustainability factors. She also worked in strategy, data, and analytics for Walmart.
Caroline holds a BFA in industrial design from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as an MBA and MS, with honors, in sustainable systems from the University of Michigan.
