Arancha is an experienced macro investor with expertise in long/short investing, mostly in the equities of global financial companies as well as other global sectors. Her investment approach is characterised by active engagement with central banks and financial services company management teams.

Prior to joining Wellington in 2019, Arancha spent two years with Balyasny Asset Management as a global financial equity portfolio manager. She also served in similar capacities for Moore Capital, UBS, and Asesores Bursátiles.

Arancha holds a BA in European business administration, with honours, from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
