The Wellington Management art collection includes more than 2,200 paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and sculptures by over 1,000 artists from more than 40 countries. Intentionally eclectic, the collection is an important component and expression of our firm’s culture. The artworks displayed throughout our offices create a visual environment that fosters the exploration of ideas — an activity that is central to our investment process.
The art collection also reflects the firm’s global presence. Over time, each of the curators has sought out works by artists living in the countries in which we have offices, as well as from throughout the international contemporary art community. The curators have also endeavored to discover and support the work of emerging artists. As a result, the collection has come to include pieces by artists at all stages of their careers — from art school students to established artists with international reputations.
We hope that the uniqueness and diversity of the art collection encourage each of our employees, clients, and visitors to think deeply about the world and see it in inspiring ways. As long as Wellington Management has had an art collection (more than 40 years), individuals within the firm have been involved in the arts in the communities in which they live and work.
