Today, institutional investors find themselves between a rock and a hard place. Their return targets remain relatively high, yet long-term return expectations for the capital markets are stubbornly low. While no single “bridge” will get investors where they need to go, we believe there are steps that can help narrow the return gap. We offer an overview of the challenge and our proposed solutions in “10 steps in the right direction.” We also include papers that explore some of these possible steps in greater depth.
