Seeking competitive investment returns

How do we pursue net zero while aiming to deliver competitive investment returns for clients? Two members of our sustainable investing team explain.

Global decarbonization partnerships

Wellington is pleased to partner with clients who have also made a net-zero commitment to develop portfolio action plans. We believe the transition to a low-carbon economy will result in market dislocations, creating many new investment risks and opportunities. As a fiduciary to our clients, it is our view that achieving their financial goals will depend on the incorporation of climate considerations, including the transition risks associated with decarbonization, into investment policies and decision making.
