At the undergraduate level, Wellington Management has a Boston and Chicago based summer internship programme. The internship takes place between June and August and typically lasts 10-12 weeks.
While the internship programme focuses on targeting underrepresented groups in investment management (women and people of colour), the programme is inclusive, therefore any qualified candidates can apply. Overall, we seek talented, dedicated students with a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.
Our internship roles fall into many departments across the firm including the areas of business, investment research, investment science and information technology. Internship roles typically fall into the following teams, but change every year based on business need:
- Client Services
- Equity Research
- Fixed Income Research
- Global Accounting
- Client Group
- Global Trading
- Investment Analytics
- Investment Science
- Information Technology
- Legal & Compliance
- Portfolio Data
- Risk Services
- Trading Operations
- Wellington Funds Group
Over the summer, our interns experience a highly challenging and rewarding programme that offers insights into the investment management industry and Wellington Management. Exceptional summer interns are viewed as potential candidates for our full-time campus programmes.
The deadline to apply is 21 October 2021
