Three years ago, Wellington Management was absent from Asia’s retail wealth space.

Fast forward to today, the $1.2tn asset manager is seeing its wealth strategy gain traction, driven by the convergence of private banking and retail product platforms, Samuel Hui, managing director, Asia Pacific, global wealth management at Wellington tells Citywire Asia.

Wellington has registered 12 funds across Hong Kong and Singapore, partnering with seven retail banks in Hong Kong and two in Singapore, with more expected by year-end.
