Wellington Management Charitable Fund
- The Fund provides grants to nonprofit organizations which improve the education and educational opportunities of economically disadvantaged youth.
- We support programs in and around the communities where we work and live: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
- The Wellington Management Charitable Fund provided funding to 35 organizations in 2006.
- Wellington Management Company, LLP pays all of the operating expenses of the Charitable Fund, thus 100% of donations go to supporting worthy organizations.
- The Fund is a US-registered charitable organization under the 501(c)(3) Internal Revenue Code (not currently able to support non-US organizations).
The Wellington Management Company, LLP Charitable Fund is a Section 501(c)(3) public charity and is not open to investors. Due to its organizational documents the Fund is not at this time able to provide grants to organizations created or organized outside the United States.
