Interviewing for a position at Wellington Management is a rigorous yet rewarding experience. During the process, you will meet with numerous people at our firm — all of them stakeholders in the position for which you are applying. Through this valuable learning process, we gain a solid assessment of your skill set and a feeling for whether you will be comfortable within our culture. At the same time, you learn more about us.
For first-year students applying for internships, the process typically consists of two rounds of interviews. The first-round interview is conducted either in person (on campus) or by phone by one or two Wellington Management professionals. Our second-round, back-to-back interviews are usually structured as a “Super Day” in our offices. The backgrounds and experience levels of the interviewers with whom you meet will vary, though all are committed to our MBA recruiting process and understand its importance within our firm's overall hiring strategy. We are mindful of the often hectic schedule during first-year recruiting, upfront about our time frame for decisions and respectful of school policies.
For second-year students applying for full-time positions, the process can be somewhat different. You will meet with many people over the course of several weeks, and may be asked to visit our offices on more than one occasion. As with our first-year student process, the interviewers with whom you meet will vary, and all are committed to our MBA recruiting process. Our interview process is thorough yet streamlined. Each conversation is beneficial — each meeting a worthwhile use of your time and ours. We work hard to ensure that the process is informative and rewarding, and that it will reveal the best candidate for the position.
Of course, all of the information you share, including your interest in pursuing a career with us, is kept strictly confidential.
“At Wellington, you can have an impact even from day one. I found that my role evolved and relatively quickly I began taking on increased responsibility.”
